For us, lasers, satellites, and quantum technologies are not toys or mysterious technologies, but important tools for actively shaping our future. These tools help us with digitalization, but also with space exploration or research into the effects of climate change. And that's much cooler than laser swords, isn't it?

If you want to find out more about the world of optics and photonics, you've come to the right place. During a school internship, you can immerse yourself in various areas of our institute and discover the diversity of our research fields. You can expect a wide range of insights into our laboratories, our workshop, and our specialist departments.
