You can work with us as a student assistant during your studies, complete internships or write your thesis.
As a student assistant, you can support various projects in our fields of activity and gain valuable practical experience. Your opportunities range from working in the laboratory to research activities or documenting research results. The weekly working hours for student assistants are up to 20 hours and can be adapted to your individual needs. This allows you to optimally combine your studies and work.
Would you like to gain your first professional experience during a voluntary or compulsory internship as part of your studies? Then come and join us at the Fraunhofer IOF! By working on existing projects, we can offer you a wide range of insights into our day-to-day research. You will be involved in various work processes, support exciting experiments in our laboratories and can expand your theoretical knowledge through practice and bring it to life.
At our institute, you can realize your own research project in the form of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis. You will benefit from the supervision of our experienced and highly qualified researchers.
In co-operation with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and other universities, the Fraunhofer IOF also offers doctoral positions.
