Fraunhofer IOF is recognized by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as an expert body in the defined area of recognition BSI TR-03121 Part 3, function module AH-FP-FTR in accordance with §9 (3) BSIG. Fraunhofer IOF has the necessary expertise and fulfils the relevant criteria of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 since 2007.
As an independent institution, Fraunhofer IOF tests the optical quality and function of one-finger, four-finger and whole-hand scanners in accordance with the guidelines:
